Welcome to the Enchanting Hotel La More, where history and mystery dance in the corridors, and every stay is a page out of a whimsical tale!
The Tale of the Phantom Feline and the Lady in White
Whispered legends speak of our resident spectral cat, a charming apparition that has made Room 23 its ethereal playground. Ghost hunters and cat aficionados alike flock from distant lands to experience the playful presence of our otherworldly pet. And if that's not spine-tingling enough, keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Lady in White, a vision that graces our halls, adding to the allure that only Hotel La More can offer.
A Journey Through Time
Built in the golden year of 1915, our hotel has worn many hats - a cozy inn, a welcoming boarding house, and even the bustling Southwest division headquarters of the Peace Corps. Each era has woven its own story into the fabric of our walls, making us not just a hotel, but a living, breathing chronicle of time.
A Modern Twist on Timeless Charm
We've lovingly restored Hotel La More to its original grandeur while infusing modern comforts. Think luxurious rooms, state-of-the-art climate control, and instant hot water – all accented by a top-tier water filtration system that promises purity in every drop.
A Hostel for the Sophisticated Traveler
Imagine a place where private rooms meet quality amenities, and a communal area welcomes you to forge new friendships, spark romances, and embark on urban adventures. That's the spirit of Hotel La More – a rendezvous for the curious and the cultured.
Your Home Away From Home
At Hotel La More, we invite you to explore, play, and mingle. Here, you're not just a guest; you're part of a family that cherishes camaraderie over pomp. As you step through our doors, you're embarking on an experience, not just a stay. Our creed says it all: "We won't treat you like royalty, but we'll always welcome you as a friend."
Bisbee the dog: The Heart of Our Tale
Meet Bisbee, the delightful dog whose name and spirit are at the very heart of our hotel's identity. In 2012, our hotel's future owner, charmed by the quirky little town, named his new canine companion after it. This dog didn't just become his best friend; she set the stage for a life-altering adventure. A decade later, he took Bisbee on a sentimental journey to her namesake town. This trip, intended as a whimsical homage, turned into a pivotal moment. Captivated by the town's charm and serendipity, he found himself not just visiting, but also acquiring the Old Bisbee Inn (now renamed to it’s original Hotel La More). This unexpected twist of fate sparked a magical transformation.
A Tribute to Heritage and Harmony
Our common area is a homage to the rich Chinese cultural influence, once interwoven in the city's tapestry but nearly forgotten. We've scoured the country for authentic historic antiques and handpicked exquisite lanterns from Hoi An, Vietnam, creating a space that's both a visual feast and a serene sanctuary.
